The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Massachusetts and Rhode Island have asked Sands Creative Group to design their 25th anniversary logo and branding. The Boston based branch of Make-A-Wish grants wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts fulfilled its very first wish in 1987 with a family trip to York Beach for a little girl with Niemann-Pick Disease. Since that first inspired wish, the Foundation has served over 4,500 children in Massachusetts and over 1,000 children in Rhode Island. They have grown from granting a single wish in the first year to striving for 400 wishes in 2011.
