Sands Creative Group’s four large format workhorses are the Roland VersaCamm SP-540V, Colorspan DisplayMaker XII, HP DesignJet 815mfp and Epson Stylus Pro9600 Printer.

ColorSpan Displaymaker XXII: 12-cartridge, 6-color (CC2MM2YK) aqueous dye system capable of delivering vivid and crisp 1200 dpi output up to 60 inches wide on a variety of media.

7 mil Satin Paper: A medium-weight paper combining a bright white surface with an eye-pleasing satiny texture allowing for maximum readability in most situations. Perfect for mounting to any of our substrates, or for use with many of our over-laminates.

10mil Matte Indoor Banner Paper: A wet-strength vinyl-faced media for use in indoor display situations. Accepts numerous over-laminates for additional durability.

7.6mil Indoor Backlit Film: Translucent film capable of yielding bright, sharp images for mounting in light box displays, cabinets, or windows.

Roland VersaCamm SP 540-V: A combination printer-cutter, capable of 1440 dpi CMYK printing in UV stable, waterproof, Eco-Solvent inks on a variety of media at widths up to 54 inches. It can perform precise (±0.1 mm or more accuracy) perimeter cuts around printed graphics or on colored vinyl media (for window lettering or other vinyl appliqué needs). The ECO-Sol inks are manufacturer rated for 3-year outdoor durability without over-lamination.

13 oz Vinyl Banner: A tough, all-purpose nylon reinforced banner media with a manufacturer rated outdoor life of 3-5 years. This media is capable of full range image reproduction and can readily accept grommets for ease of display.

3.75 mil Calendered Self Adhesive Vinyl: A gray-backed (for opacity) vinyl with medium-high tack pressure sensitive adhesive capable of full range image reproduction. Can be perimeter cut for custom-shaped, full-color appliqués. It is suitable for indoor or outdoor usage (manufacturer rated up to 3 years outdoors) and can be used in vehicle graphic applications as well. Perfect for mounting to any of our substrates, or for use with many of our over-laminates.

7.5 mil Static Cling Vinyl: Printable on one side (glossy only) with the opposite side of the media treated to cling without adhesive to glass or metal for easy, trouble-free removal. The printed image is translucent on the clear, with increased opacity on the white. Can be perimeter cut.

7 mil Exterior Window Perf: A perforated PVC laminate graphic film similar to standard pressure sensitive vinyl. Printable on one (white) side for 2-way window signage that still allows light passage and viewing from the reverse (black) side. It can be exterior mounted (up to 1 year) or interior mounted.

Cast and Calendered Colored Vinyls: Far too numerous in both color and special effect variety to list, these vinyls can easily custom cut for window lettering, vehicle graphics and other applications. Colors and widths in stock varies at all times, most common colors can be ordered with arrival time usually within 24-48 hours.

Note: Some, but not all of these vinyls are printable. Printability varies from manufacturer and vinyl type and may require testing for compatibility.

17 mil Matte Canvas: A tough, high-quality canvas textured material capable of full range reproduction.

Epson Stylus Pro9600: Our fine art “Gicleé” printer, capable printing on a wide
range of media up to 44 inches in width using a 7-color (CC2MM2YKK2) system printing
a maximum resolution of 2880 X 1440 dpi..

“Arches by Magic” Textured Fine Art Paper: 225 gram, mould-made acid-free 100%
cotton art paper. Combines the appeal of an Arches fine art paper in a Gicleé media.
Capable of excellent color and detail reproduction with a watercolor paper texture and
finish.

Customer Provided & Other Media: The Epson 9600 is capable of printing on a number of popular paper stocks. You may either provide these yourself or have us special
order a paper to suit your need. We will happily discuss these possibilities and options with you. As not all non-Epson approved stocks may yield optimum results we suggest testing any media before committing to printing.

HP DesignJet 815mfp: A 2400 x 1200 dpi CMYK printer capable of making prints up to 42 inches in width. It is ideal for small run blueprint reproduction and as a basic low cost graphics printer for output on inexpensive media.

The HP DesignJet 800 printer is designed to work in tandem with the HP DesihnJet Scanner (see below).
